Our events are geared towards community engagement and historical education, and are open to local residents, families, anyone who supports the Owensville Cemetery West Association and its legacy. We promote these events through social media, mailings, and word of mouth.
Cemetery Homecoming
Join us for a day of remembrance, fellowship, and community engagement as we honor the legacy of those buried in the Owensville Cemetery. The event will include a short service, a short meeting and a chance for members to pay their dues and make donations for the upkeep and beautification of the Cemetery.

Historical Marker Dedication
We are working toward the placement of official Texas Historical Markers for both the West (African-American) and East (White) sections of the cemetery. This will be a celebration of unity, remembrance, and long-overdue recognition. More details to come!
